Forget Electoral Reforms & Opposition Coalitions warns Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga

Outspoken opposition Member of Parliament Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga warns that Zanu PF will not agree to electoral reforms before next year’s elections and calls on the opposition to focus on getting more people to register to vote and strategize how to secure a smooth transfer of power. Speaking with journalist Violet Gonda on the Hot Seat programme about women’s involvement in the forthcoming elections and the state of the opposition in Zimbabwe, the former negotiator in the Government of National Unity criticised ‘opposition coalitions’ for focusing on dividing coalition seats while a ‘weakened’ ZANU PF is busy mobilizing people to register to vote.
